Privacy Policy
This page explains what information Inkelement may collect and use when visitors browse the portfolio, create an account, send messages, join the mailing list, complete a purchase, or use protected forms.
Starter legal copy only. Replace or review with qualified counsel before relying on it as final legal policy.
Information Inkelement may collect
Inkelement may collect contact details such as name and email, account details, saved shipping information, order information, message-thread correspondence, mailing list signup details, and basic technical information needed to operate the site securely.
When purchases are enabled, order records may include product selections, style/color/size/custom options, quantities, totals, shipping fields, payment status, fulfillment status, receipt records, and related customer communication.
Accounts, profile fields, and account deletion
Users may create an account to view receipts, saved shipping information, and site messages. Passwords are stored as hashes, not as plain text. Account pages may include profile fields, shipping fields, receipts, message threads, and account controls.
Users may request or trigger account deletion where available. Deletion may remove or disable account access and related profile information, but Inkelement may retain limited records that are reasonably needed for order history, fraud prevention, chargeback handling, legal compliance, security logs, or accounting purposes.
Messages and correspondence
Contact forms and logged-in message threads are stored so Ink can read, respond to, and manage conversations from the admin dashboard. Replies from the site owner may be shown as coming from “Ink” in the user account area.
Messages may also generate email notifications when email service is configured. Inkelement may disable messaging for accounts that misuse the feature, send spam, harass others, or create security concerns.
Captcha and spam protection
Inkelement may use Cloudflare Turnstile on login, signup, signed-out contact, signed-out checkout, mailing list, and other public forms to reduce spam, bots, fraud, and abuse. Cloudflare may process technical verification signals as part of that protection.
Logged-in contact or account messaging may skip captcha when the authenticated session is used as the verification layer.
Receipts, notifications, and email
When email is configured, Inkelement may send account emails, signup confirmations, password-change notices, deletion confirmations, message notifications, purchase receipts, order updates, and mailing list confirmations. Receipt emails may include readable order details such as purchased items, selected options, totals, and shipping information.
Third-party services
Inkelement may use third-party providers for payment processing, captcha/spam protection, email delivery, hosting, analytics if later added, and related infrastructure. Payment information is handled through the payment provider; the site should not store full card numbers.
